Do I legally need a Legionella risk assessment?
Yes. Under health and safety law, landlords, employers and those in control of premises must assess and control the risk of exposure to Legionella. ACoP L8 sets out how to comply.
How often should water systems be monitored?
Typically monthly for sentinel outlet temperatures and periodically for tanks and calorifiers, as defined by your written scheme of control. We manage the whole programme for you.
What happens if risks are found?
Your assessment will include a prioritised action plan. Our remedial team can then carry out the corrective works — from removing dead legs to tank replacement — and re-certify the system.
